The Office of Sustainability has three focus areas.
Outreach & Engagement
Staff include the university sustainability officer (director of the Office of Sustainability), 2 sustainability coordinators, 1 communications coordinator, and 1 administrative assistant. Up to 4 assistants provide 28-35 hours of support for outreach & communications during the year. Up to 4 student interns work during the school year, each providing up to 10 hours of service per week.
Teaching & Research
Staff include: 1 half-time director and up to 2 part-time assistants at any one time.
Facilities & Operations
The Energy Management & Sustainable Operations work unit is embedded within the Portfolio of Facilities & Operations. Staff include: 1 director, 1 manager, 2 sustainability coordinators and 1 administrative assistant.
