A brief description of the reusable mug program:
NORTH CAMPUS University Dining Services on North Campus offers a 10 cent discount for the use of a reusable mug; this applies to all beverages, at all University Dining Services locations. Additionally, vendors in the Students’ Union Building offer “Dishcounts” ranging from 10 cents to 25 cents for patrons who bring their own reusable mug or food dish. AUGUSTANA CAMPUS When customers bring their own mugs to the Café, a discount is given.

Vendors in the Students’ Union Building offer “Dishcounts” ranging from $0.20 to $0.25 for patrons who bring their own reusable food dish. Sustain SU: the Student Sustainability Service also runs a Reusable Dish Program, which makes plates freely available in the Students' Union Building cafeteria for patrons to use. These plates are eligible for a "Dishcount" at food vendors in the Students' Union Building. The program also extends to the rest of the campus community so they can rent reusable dishware for events, conferences, meetings,etc. For the 2013-14 academic year total rentals were: 12,851 dinner plates, 3,010 appetizer plates, 6,935 cups, 227 pitchers.
