A brief description of the program:
To access surplus chemicals, the user must be registered in the Chematix system. Chematix is a web-based searchable electronic waste tracking program that allows labs to donate surplus chemicals to, or request surplus chemicals from, Environmental Health and Safety. Chemicals being donated to the program are picked-up from the lab on the next visit to the building. Chemicals requested from surplus are delivered in one to three days, depending on when the request is received.
