NORTH CAMPUS
On North Campus, all frying oils used by University Dining Services are trans fat free. University Dining Services also seeks to avoid foods that include trans fats in its Lister Centre dining hall. Additionally, the Lister residential dining hall features a salad bar, fruit and entrée station and grill which focus on baked, not fried options. All salad oils and dressings are trans fat free, and 90 per cent of protein options are baked or grilled, not fried.
AUGUSTANA CAMPUS
Augustana campus utilizes Canola Harvest in their dining operations. This product is 100 per cent canola oil, trans fat free, cholesterol free, low in saturated fats, and Kosher approved.
