The Department of Renewable Resources within the faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences offers Transatlantic Education for Globally Sustainable Forests.
This educational exchange program will provide students and faculty with an opportunity to understand the immense pressures and changes taking place within the world's forests and the forms of management to sustain and grow forests within Canada and the European Union (EU). Sustainable development related to forests is critical in both Canada and the EU, where the concept of sustainability has an essential role in the EU constitution.
