A brief description of the assessment(s):

Campus Climate Survey 2011
In March 2011, the Chancellor’s Diversity Action Committee completed the Campus Climate Survey, which received about 970 responses. This is very exciting and the committee is looking forward to the results of the quantitative and qualitative data analysis to be done this summer. An action plan will be developed based on these results. The committee will also distribute the analysis to the campus at-large at that time.
At the April 2011 meeting, Chancellor Rogers directed the committee to propose a new vision to strengthen UAF’s commitment to diversity in light of recent developments. Those developments include the announcement by Earlina Bowden of her intent to retire September 1, the completion of the Campus Climate Survey and the inclusion of ‘sexual orientation’ as a protected class in Board of Regents Policy.
