This is the Mission statement of the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Diversity:
"The Office of Multicultural Affairs & Diversity (OMAD) is committed to raise awareness, respect and understanding while striving for equal opportunities for all underrepresented individuals in our campus community. Ana Richards oversees all of the activities performed by OMAD, organizes events, schedules office use time for the various clubs that use this space, and sits on the Diversity Committee at UAF. She is responsible for many of the programs that welcome and support students of differing backgrounds.
