Yes

A brief description of the institution's stormwater management initiatives:

Our stormwater policy for new construction follows the Alaska Pollutant Discharge Elimination System General Construction Permit. Our policy for existing buildings is governed by the Fairbanks MS4 stormwater regulations. Combined these policies attempt to eliminate pollutants such as chemicals and excess sediment in rainwater. Our stormwater management also takes the huge amounts of water discharged by snowmelt during breakup including the snow that is removed from roads and parking lots. These two policies govern the construction of our permanent drainage system and also the drainage systems set up for construction sites.
