Has the institution developed a bicycle plan?:
Yes
A brief description of the plan:
The purpose of the Green Bike Sustainability Program is to educate and empower students while promoting bicycle use on campus. We want to emphasize a sustainable and active lifestyle. A fleet of mountain bikes will be available for free long term rental to students throughout the year. Tools and trained mechanics will be on hand to help guide students through tuning up their personal bikes during regular office hours. Funding for the program is provided through the student sustainability fee, managed by the UAF sustainability office and RISE board.
