Yes
None
A brief description of the incentives or programs:
UAF offers on campus housing for employees.Family Housing is available for married students, students with a financially inter-dependent partner, and students with children. Family housing agreement terms are usually for the length of the academic year. Residence Life also provides housing for employees and their families. Employee housing agreement terms are for 12 months. In 2010 there were 46 faculty utilizing the employee housing.
Faculty housing is for new incoming faculty. The initial agreement is for one year but can be extended for an additional year(s) with a 3 year limit. The extensions are based upon demand for housing. There is not recruiting for faculty/staff housing it is just a first come first serve basis the same as it is with the families that live on campus. Though it is worth mentioning that the number of units available to faculty have increased 58% in the last 10 years.
