A brief description of the technology used:
Most of the vending machines on campus now have a VendingMiser® unit installed on them. These units reduce the amount of electricity that we use on campus, saving us money and reducing our shared carbon footprint. Additionally, as per a contract with our vending machine company, all new vending machines on campus must meet Energy Star standards.
