A brief description of the program:
It is the mission of UAF Outdoor Adventures to promote and enable UAF students and affiliates to explore, discover, and understand the timeless beauty of wild Alaska .
Alaska is an adventurer's paradise with boundless wilderness, spectacular natural beauty, and plentiful wildlife. The Wood Center Outdoor Adventures Program has been offering recreational outdoor trips to UAF students and affiliates for more than twenty years. Outdoor Adventures rents high quality outdoor equipment, provides an increasing number of instructional trips and classes, and shows a variety of slide shows and movies to inspire people to get out and explore!
