UAH employs the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System to Reduce the discharge of pollutants to the “maximum extent practicable” (MEP), protect water quality, and Satisfy the appropriate water quality requirements of the Clean Water act and Regional Water Quality Control Board Basin Plan.
