A brief description of the institution’s community garden:

The UAH Community Garden was created to build a stronger sense of community and increase awareness of local food production and sustainable agriculture. Garden plots can be rented by not only the university's students, faculty, and staff but also the Huntsville community as well. Gardeners work together to care for their plots, participate in garden workdays, and grow produce in an environmentally sustainable way.
