This figure was done adding the numbers given by the Office of Institutional, Research, Effectiveness, and Assessment. The graduates are from programs listed below from years 2019, 2020, and 2021.


A list of degree programs that require an understanding of the concept of sustainability:

1) BS in Earth System Science: Graduates in the BS in ESS will be able to integrate knowledge from multiple disciplines to scientifically address Earth system issues quantitatively. 2) BS in Chemical Engineering: - An ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability. - Graduates are expected to engage in educational, business, or technical activities with an understanding of global and economic impacts, civic responsibility, and environmental and human safety. 3) BS in Civil engineering: - The UAH Civil Engineering program will demonstrate that their graduates have:

- an ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability
- the broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context
