The UAB Employee Wellness program provides resources and opportunities to help employees (faculty and staff) live well — from a dynamic schedule of wellness programs and initiatives to onsite health screens that empower employees to know their numbers and live well both in and out of the workplace. Additionally, UAB Wellness administers the Employee Assistance and Counseling Center, where we provide confidential support services for employees and members of their immediate household with free resources for resolving work-related and personal issues.

UAB Student Health and Wellness: Student Counseling Services offers students of all backgrounds, races, religious beliefs, sexual orientations, gender identities, abilities, ethnicities, and cultures a safe place to discuss and resolve issues that interfere with personal and academic goals. We recognize and honor the complex intersectionality of all aspects of a person’s identity and presenting concerns. https://www.uab.edu/students/health/

Confidential counseling services are available to all currently enrolled UAB students at no cost. Psychiatric services are also available.
