While including UAB hospital and clinical facilities made reporting significantly more complicated, UAB regularly asserts statistics regarding size and economic impact to emphasize the scope of the enterprise. Not including these facilities would have resulted in a score not truly indicative of the sustainability program of the UAB enterprise. Those responsible for this assessment have made every effort to provide accurate responses to credits for which the campus and hospital have separate organizations, such as dining.
