UCC's finance committee controls the management and divestment of assets (including intellectual property), and to invest any money belonging to the University, including any unapplied income, in such Stock, Funds, Shares or Securities. With the recent signing by the university of the UN supported Principles of Responsible Investments, the finance committee have committed to responsible investment across environmental, ethical, social and governance issues. The university will need to report annually against the indicators set out by the UNPRI https://www.unpri.org/signatories/reporting-for-signatories
