At UB, we focus on creating and sustaining a healthy mix of work, personal life and academic pursuits — all in an effort to support each person’s need for work-life effectiveness. UB's workforce is engaged in opportunities to promote pride and camaraderie.

Wellness & Work/Life Balance's Community OutReach for Employees (CORE) program,
provides UB employees an easy way to volunteer and make an impact on UB’s surrounding communities and become part of a unified force of volunteers. Employees who join CORE are notified by email of opportunities to participate
