A brief description of the assessment process and the framework, scorecard(s) and/or tool(s) used:
The Office of the Vice Provost for Inclusive Excellence conducted a series of interviews and data analysis to assess campus climate while preparing the "Strategic Diversity and Inclusion Plan." Faculty, staff and student data was analyzed in collaboration with the Office of Institutional Analysis. A campus-wide review of diversity programs, policies, and leadership was also conducted. The next steps are conducting a campus-wide climate survey and developing an equity scorecard dashboard.

Findings of the strategic plan: Success with increasing international representation, and improving the four- and six- year graduation rates for undergraduates and reducing the completion gap for URM students. Room for improvement with achieving greater diversity in faculty, staff and University leadership, increasing the diversity of countries of origin for international students, and further improving graduation and completion gaps. These findings led to six goals and 43 strategies to enhance equity, diversity and inclusion, which are included in the strategic plan.
