A brief description of the methodology used to determine the total number of courses offered and to identify sustainability course offerings, including the definitions used and the process for reviewing and/or validating the course inventory :

With the engagement of the Sustainability Teaching subcommittee of the Stewardship Committee, a comprehensive inventory of our sustainability related and focused courses was created.

An initial list of all courses taught during all semesters of the 2017-2018 academic school year was obtained from the Registrars Office. The database was thoroughly reviewed to search for and identify potential sustainability courses by identifying courses that were indentured as sustainability related for the previous STARS submission, searching for the term "sustainability" in the course catalog, and then identifying courses that correlated with a UN Sustainable Development Goal.

Additionally, results of the inventory were shared with all schools at the institution, and Deans and faculty were invited to provide ongoing input and updates.

How were courses with multiple offerings or sections counted for the figures reported above?:
Each course was counted as a single course regardless of the number of offerings or sections
