Total energy consumption, performance year:
695,992.55 MMBtu

Clean and renewable electricity (report kilowatt-hours):
kWh MMBtu
Imported electricity from certified/verified clean and renewable sources (i.e., bundled green power purchases) 0 Kilowatt-hours 0 MMBtu
Electricity from on-site, clean and renewable sources (rights retained/retired) 992,314 Kilowatt-hours 3,385.78 MMBtu

A brief description of the certified/verified sources of clean and renewable electricity:

992,314 kwh of solar energy is generated on-site through behind-the-meter, roof-mounted solar photovoltaic systems installed as part of three projects. Two of the systems, 49KW and 27kW, are University owned. The larger 1.8MW system was installed using a PPA structure where the University owns both the electricity and the RECs from the project.

A brief description of the on-site renewable electricity generating facilities/devices:

62,197 kwh of solar energy is generated on-site on two different sites: one on the roof of the Social Science building and another on the roof of the Campus Center. We do not claim the environmental attributes.

Clean and renewable thermal energy (report MMBtu):
MMBtu
Clean and renewable stationary fuels used on-site to generate thermal energy 0 MMBtu
Imported steam, hot water, and/or chilled water from certified/verified clean and renewable sources 0 MMBtu

A brief description of the clean and renewable stationary fuels:

none

A brief description of the certified/verified sources of clean and renewable thermal energy:
---

Unbundled renewable energy products (report kWh):
kWh MMBtu
Purchased RECs, GOs, I-RECs or equivalent unbundled renewable energy products certified by a third party 2,700,000 Kilowatt-hours 9,212.40 MMBtu

A brief description of the unbundled renewable energy products:

2,700 MWH of Green-e certified RECS from renewable energy projects in the US were purchased in January 2022 for a new construction project ETEC’s estimated 2-year annual electric use for LEED certification.

Total clean and renewable energy generated or purchased:
12,598.18 MMBtu

Percentage of total energy consumption from clean and renewable sources:
