The Department of Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences offers a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. Graduates with this concentration will be well qualified for a broad range of employment within the highly interdisciplinary field of environmental science. There are four distinct specializations within this major concentration: Ecosystems, Climate Change, Geography, and Sustainability Science and Policy

The Bachelor of Science program in Environmental and Sustainable Engineering (ESE) prepares and equips students to become professional environmental engineers able to tackle local and global environmental issues through creative and innovative approaches.

Students study introductory and advanced atmospheric sciences, as well as mathematics, physics and chemistry. Elective options align with career goals in subjects including short-term and seasonal forecasting, solar energy, air pollution and extreme weather.
