A brief description of the assessment(s):

The University conducted a campus climate survey in 2008. A total of 2,648 undergraduates, 973 graduates, 609 staff members and 335 faculty members participated. The survey covered the following topics: overall satisfaction with the university, sense of connectedness, views about issues related to diversity and experiences of discrimination or harassment. The results of the survey were shared with members of the strategic planning committee. This information served to guide the University strategic plan as well as the Office of Diversity planning.
