Does the institution have a surplus department or formal office supplies exchange program that facilitates reuse of materials?:
Yes

A brief description of the program:

The university has an informal exchange program among offices for supplies such as file folders, binders, etc. The university also participates in the state Reuse Supply program operated by OGS. The university Office of Equipment Management oversees the surplusing of larger office equipment such as desks, furniture, and computer equipment. Items that are classified as still having a useful life are included in the statewide surplus system. The university also has a smaller surplus shop for items that do not fall into the above categories upon which all offices and departments on campus can request items.
