To ensure compliance with all general provisions in the Design Guide and the more specific provisions in the functional and technical programs, Université Laval appoints a project manager to supervise work and follow up as needed. Université Laval uses the commissioning process for its projects. This quality assurance process is applied from design to delivery of the work. Université Laval uses ASHERAE Guideline 0.

In recent years, new constructions were:
• Centre de valorisation des données : 1250 m2
• Carré des Affaires (agrandissement pavillons La Laurentienne et Palasis-Prince) : 1156 m2

And major renovation projects were for the building DeKoninck, on about 25% of the building space: 11 500 m2
