The University has a Staff Assistance Program for all employees who need help dealing with personal or work-related problems. This professional, confidential service is available to individuals with issues that are affecting or could potentially affect their health, personal life, or work performance.
Le Centre d’aide aux étudiants (Student Aid Center) as the mandate to provide direct and indirect assistance to the normal development of the student in his journey to the University and in the crises that arise in this process, in collaboration with the other components of the University. It provides services to students in the areas of academic guidance, learning and academic achievement, psychological well-being and disability. It develops prevention programs and advises faculties, programs and units.
Université Laval also has a Global Health Policy in the Workplace (Politique relative à la prévention, à la promotion et aux pratiques organisationnelles favorisant la santé globale en milieu de travail) that demonstrates its commitment to fostering a healthy work environment and promoting organizational practices that promote people's physical, psychological and social health.
