Each year, Université Laval provides its students with more than $60 million in financial support in the form of scholarships and jobs. It also has more than 125 scholarships available to students needing financial assistance.

The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (Bureau des bourses et de l'aide financière, BBAF) offers several budgeting tools to all students as well as a free and confidential consultation to help them prepare their budgets.
Université Laval, CADEUL, AELIÉS and the Fonds d'aide financière aux étudiants (FAFÉ) also provide a fund to help students with precarious financial situations that jeopardize their studies. This scholarship is open to students of all full-time enrollments who have successfully completed at least one academic course in a degree program. Scholarships are available at all times.

Four childcare centres are available on campus, including a new centre with non-traditional hours. The Petit Campus facility is adapted to meet the needs of a university clientele, with a flexible registration policy and service available on weekends and in the evening. With capacity for 50 children from three months to 12 years of age, this educational centre helps families balance school, work, and home life. Subsidized spaces are available, and priority goes to UL student parents.
