CHAPTER 23 - SALARY, PAYMENT OF SALARY AND VACATION ALLOWANCE
Lump sum salary amount (tasks paid on a lump sum basis)
23.01 An amount calculated on the salary received as a lecturer, for the tasks paid under contract according to a course package is paid in accordance with the following parameters:
- of the total salary received from the first (1st) day of the summer session 2011 to the last day of the winter session 2012: 0.75%;
- of the total salary received from the first (1st) day of the summer session 2012 to the last day of the winter session 2013: 3.02%;
- of the total salary received from the first (1st) day of the summer session 2013 to the last day of the summer session 2013: 6.25%.
Processing of the lecturer (except the lecturer)
23.02 The salary of a lecturer shall include allowances for public holidays and an allowance of eight percent (8%) for vacations.
23.03 The salary for a forty-five (45) hour course load is:
- as at January 1, 2011, $ 7,737.04;
- on the first (1st) day of the fall 2013 session, $ 8,220.61;
- on the first (1st) day of the summer session 2014, the increase is 2% or according to the salary parameters of the government of Quebec (PSG) if they are higher. To this increase may be added, on March 31, 2015, the indexation linked to inflation, as provided for in the PSG;
- on the first (1st) day of the summer session 2015, the increase is 1.5% or according to the PSGs if they are higher;
- as of May 1, 2016, the increase is the same as the PSGs.
23.04 The salary for a course of less than or more than forty-five (45) hours is established in proportion to the number of hours in accordance with article 23.03.
