Does the institution include community service achievements on student transcripts?:
A brief description of the practice:
The student involvement recognition policy provides for three forms of recognition:
a) Awarding of three credits
A student may be awarded three credits upon request. These credits may be applied to the student’s program upon authorization by program administration.
b) Attestation letter
Each student whose request is accepted is presented with an attestation letter signed by the vice-rector of academic activities describing the student’s contribution and the scope of his or her involvement
c) Note in the academic transcript
Each student whose request is accepted receives a note attesting to the student’s involvement and any credits awarded in his or her academic transcript.
