A brief description of the institution’s wellness and/or employee assistance program(s):
The EAP is a voluntary, anonymous and confidential consultation service offered to all UQAM employees. Each staff member can benefit from six counselling meetings per year. The services offered at the EAP are designed to provide assistance to employees with personal or professional difficulties, thereby helping them regain a sense of balance and well-being.

Included services:

- psychological support, legal, financial and nutritional counseling, and vocational guidance;

- consultations in the presence of immediate family members;

- 24/7 accessibility: you can access the EAP at any time by phone, Internet or mobile application;

- access to a web platform including the creation of a personal profile offering support tools/

Student Life Services offers a number of services to support the student body such as learning support, psychological support and support for students with special needs.

Sports Centre offers several services/resources such as health and nutrition advice (consultation sessions (nutrition, training, physiotherapy, etc.) and sports and leisure activities (recreational activities).

Open to the general public, the UQAM Sexology Clinic is a university training clinic for the practice of counselling in sexology for students enrolled in the master's degree in sexology. It offers assessment and psychotherapy services for sexual difficulties. These services are provided by trainee students of the master's degree in clinical sexology, under the supervision of accredited sexologists and psychotherapists. The trainees at the UQAM Sexology Clinic did most of their theoretical training.

Any member of the university community can consult the Office of Harassment Intervention and Prevention (BIPH) confidentially. Depending on the applicant's needs and at the request, BIPH provides reception, information, assistance, support or intervention services. Through its training offer, the BIPH aims to raise awareness and thus contribute to the prevention of sexism, sexual violence and psychological harassment within the university community.
