Based on the Environmental Health and Safety Division calculations (whose methodology differs from that of STARS), the University has performed well in recent years. It has, for instance, always stayed below the rate of its unit, which is that of the College or university teaching, library, laboratory or research centre (l’« Enseignement collégial ou universitaire, bibliothèque, laboratoire ou centre de recherche »), with respect to the costs management related to work injuries and occupational diseases that occur to its employees.
