A Universidade tem implantado em seus campi um sistema de monitoramento através de observação, com a intenção de reduzir o disperdício de água que são distribuidos ao longo de todos os seus ramais. E tem conseguido detectar vários pontos de vazamento através de testes no sistema hidráulico. Desta forma reduzindo consideravelmente o disperdício.
