The Open University finds in Local Learning Centers (CLA) a way of establishing partnerships with local entities, namely at the level of municipal councils and also influencing the educational offer in terms of local sustainable development, regarding the lifelong learning of adults. See examples in Reguengos de Monsaraz municipality, the inclusion of the Open University in the educatinal municipal council, supporting the municipality governing bodies. http://www.cm-reguengos-monsaraz.pt/pt/site-servicos/educacao/cme See other example in Ansião municipality, in this regard the CLA develop actions and seminars directed to the population and sponsored by the respective chambers including topics related to sustainability.
