The Open University, in 2016, has provided a program to staff called "Programa Fixe" that had a workshop called "MANAGEMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL GOOD PRACTICES IN ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT".
The programs in the Department of Lifelong Learning (ALV) are also promoted internally with more advantageous conditions of admission for the university staff.


A brief description of any external professional development and training opportunities in sustainability that are supported by the institution(e.g. through payment, reimbursement, or subsidy):

The "Programa Fixe" was based on a voluntary participation of the university staff with no costs; and
The Lifelong Learning (ALV) courses are available to the university staff with a redution of 50% of the total payment of the course.
