A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
UTEC Uruguay is an innovative and technology-focused educational institution with 13 campuses located across 11 departments of the country. These campuses are organized into Regional Technological Institutes (ITRs), which enable the decentralization of higher education by offering academic programs tailored to local and regional needs. Each ITR serves as a hub for education, research, and innovation, closely linked to the productive and social environment of its region, thereby promoting sustainable development and the integration of knowledge at a national level. This decentralized institutional structure is crucial for this report, as it reflects the diverse contexts and realities across Uruguay. The report will cover all centers, not just a single campus, to provide a comprehensive overview of UTEC's impact
