This initiative focuses on creating sustainable urban environments in the city of Melo, Uruguay. UTEC led discussions and actions involving the local community and stakeholders to address sustainability challenges and opportunities in the region. Through this program, the university promotes a vision of urban development that balances economic growth with environmental responsibility, aiming to transform Melo into a model for sustainable cities.
This approach fosters collaboration between the academic community, local governments, and residents to ensure a future-oriented and sustainable urban ecosystem.
