1st program
A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
The "Change Agents for Innovation" program at UTEC provides students with the opportunity to develop leadership and innovation skills to drive positive change in their communities. This peer-to-peer program focuses on forming a community of innovation through project development that supports local and regional ecosystems. It consists of four modules covering leadership, innovation, project management, and a hands-on Innovation Week. Students are trained in transformational leadership, design thinking, and project management, with continuous evaluation, participation in Innovation Week, and peer facilitation. The program aims to prepare students to become adaptable professionals capable of addressing complex challenges and fostering sustainable innovation.

The target audience for the peer-to-peer educators program during Innovation Week consists of UTEC students from all disciplines, semesters, and campuses who are eager to work collaboratively on community-based challenges. The program is designed for students who are motivated to both develop and share their creative problem-solving skills with their peers, while engaging local communities. As peer educators, students will actively lead and support each other throughout the hands-on experience, making it an ideal opportunity to gain leadership experience, make a tangible impact, and earn academic credits.

2nd program
A brief description of the student educators program (2nd program):
The program brings together students from various UTEC campuses and disciplines, working collaboratively with local communities. Participants, acting as both learners and peer educators, will guide each other in developing innovative solutions to community problems, fostering both personal and territorial impact. In addition to experiential learning, peer educators and participants will earn 6 UTEC Innova credits. Transport, accommodation, and meals are provided for participants traveling from other departments.
