During the professional development day, mandatory for all those who work at USFQ, we include sustainability related trainings. In 2021 the speakers where:

- Juan Diego Humpierres: Attitude towards change and innovation

Every professor has a proposed budget to do trainings based on their professional needs. We have had professors and staff take sustainability trainings such as certificates in innovation (2020), Impact-Focused Education Unconference at Lehigh University (2019), attend conferences such as the WA-IDB Innovation Conference on the Sustainable Use of Water: Cities, Industry and Agriculture (2019) amongst others.
