A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :
Student Orientation is offered every semester to all incoming students to learn about different aspects of campus life, academics, and all relevant information for students to start their new academic endeavors. The Office of Sustainability presents during the orientation week talking to students about USFQ's sustainability commitments, STARS rating, and relevant projects implemented on campus to promote sustainability such as mobility alternatives, recycling, water fountains to reduce plastic consumption, cafeteria incentives for reusable wear, etc.
