A brief description of the institution’s wellness and/or employee assistance program(s):

The UDEM Wellbeing program is based on the UDEM Wellbeing Model, which is executed in synergy with different instances of the University, which range from promotion and prevention (Wellbeing Center), early identification of cases and their referral ( Student Accompaniment), likewise the first-year program that through the course UDEM 101 intervenes at the primary level in well-being issues and in the timely identification, finally the referrals reach the area of ​​counseling, tutoring and student counseling (CATCE) and to the Center for Treatment and Research of Anxiety (CETIA).

The Human Capital area in synergy with the Wellness Center, the Comprehensive Health Center, the Student Counseling, Tutoring and Counseling Center, the Gender Inclusion Equity Center and the Anxiety Treatment and Research Center (CETIA), provide services medical and health and wellness. Every year the Human Capital area executes its health promotion program.

The University of Monterrey declares itself a smoke-free space in compliance with the Law of Protection Against Exposure to Tobacco Smoke of the State of Nuevo León and its Regulations. Smoke-free spaces too include the use of Electronic Nicotine Administration Systems (cigarettes electronic) with any type of substance.
Therefore, it is strictly forbidden to smoke any tobacco product inside any of the facilities and / or in any activity organized by the University outside of the same (for example: trips study, artistic and cultural events, exhibitions, picnics and any other) including but not limited to: campus UDEM, high school units, parking lots, inside vehicles once that it has entered the facilities, outdoor spaces, extension of the UDEM and any other area within the perimeter owned by the Institution.
