Online Sustainability course for elementary educators
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
Inside the sustainability office, we hold an NGO that works with elementary teachers in incorporating sustainability into their schools. During the pandemic, we created an online workshop (21 hours distributed on seven weekends) open to anyone in the community, focusing on teachers. After completing the online seminar, teachers must create a pilot program concentrating on at least one topic learned.
