The University has a specific center called Centro de Sostenibilidad (Sustainability Center), that looks forward to lead UDEM to a sustainable development through knowledge generation and implementation of strategies that engages the community to minimize environmental impacts through the development of internal and external projects.

The Center has a website which consolidates information about the institutions efforts, such as actual projects, academic and research offerings,events, team, vision, mission and objective of the center. The webpage has different topics based on the STARS, Academics, Engagement, Operations and Administration.

A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:

Around the Campus there are diffent signs that identifies Green buildings whichs are LEED Certified buildings. Through our buildings we promote economic, energy and water savings and we offer a healthy and productive environment. Our Centro Roberto Garza Sada received LEED Platinum and the 7-Eleven on campus received LEED Gold certification. Around the University’s green areas there is signage located which communicates that the grounds are irrigated with reusable water.

Yes

A brief description of the sustainability walking map or tour:

Universidad de Monterrey has both a walking map and a virtual tour trough the campus. In both of them, students and professors can find where in campus they can park their bicycle, carpooling parking lots, public transportation stops among other options regarding sustainable and efficient transportation options.

In the same maps, people can find the places to eat according to their needs, places to rest and relax, the gym and green areas to excercise, and other places that promotes wellness in different dimensions around the campus.

A brief description of the guide for green living and/or incorporating sustainability into the residential experience:

Residence halls also known as "Resis" has its own material for new residents called "Resis Starter Pack" where they share recommendations, values, community guidelines and sustainability efforts and initiatives for living at Residence halls.

The Sustainability Centre provides a manual in which information about sustainable practices for residential halls is given to every student. Every semester staff from the sustainability center welcomes all residents with a talk about the project of sustainable residence
