All students at UDEM upon graduation will have acquired knowledge regarding specific areas. For the new model, there are eight outcomes; the first one is Humanistic social, and civic. The complete description follows: Students will reconsider the challenges of today's societies with a humanistic vision and are committed to building a more just and sustainable world. To achieve this, students will identify, interpret, analyze and implement solutions to social, economic, and environmental issues.

A brief description of how the figure above was determined:

All students at UDEM must take three mandatory courses that include the concept of sustainability. Two of the three courses are academic, and one is co-curricular. The first academic course is -Sustainability, Ethics, and Social Responsibility- this is a focused course. The second academic course, also academic, is -global challenges and dynamics- it is an inclusive course where students learn about global social, environmental, and economic issues and their iterations. Finally, students must take the META course, a co-curricular course that focuses on five relevant topics, Interculturality, Integrity, Sustainability, Leadership, and Civic engagement.

Besides these requirements, undergraduate programs are incorporating the concept of sustainability into their mission and vision & learning outcomes.

The list below includes only the undergraduate programs that have incorported the term sustainability into their mision, vision and/or learning outcomes. It is important to notice that all undergraduates regardless the program must take the three courses (focused and inclusive) mentiones above.
