The paper purchasing policy, directive or guidelines:

UDEM encourages faculty and staff to print as less a possible and handle all information electronically. If it´s imperative to print staff is recommended to print in in recycled paper. We have a contract with a paper company and all our paper waste is collected and they give us in exchange recycled paper. This product can be purchase online by all departments and it´s 30% cheaper than non recycled paper.


A brief description of steps the institution has taken to ensure that the purchasing policy, directives, or guidelines are followed :

Every semester we do an inventory of the recycled paper consumed. Offering this at a lower price aasures us the recycled paper guidelines are followed.
