Through a blog page students, faculty and staff, write and share their experiences in activities and programs that promote sustainability. All information can be accessed by anyone.

A brief summary of additional ways the institution collaborates with other campuses to advance sustainability :
The Universidad de Monterrey and the company Xignux summon professional students at universities in Nuevo Leon to form multidisciplinary teams and participate in the "Alternative Energy and Sustainable Construction competition". The competition is part of the Xignux-UDEM Initiative, in which that company participates collaboratively with the Center of Sustainability and the academic divisions of the Universidad of Monterrey, In order to promote resource conservation, alternative energy development , environmental protection and sustainable development of the community.
Students from universities in Nuevo Leon are invited to form multidisciplinary teams of 3 to 5 students from universities in Nuevo Leon.
Students will develop a proposal for alternative energy systems and sustainable construction in the premises of a nonprofit organization of civil society to care for people in a situation of vulnerability, marginalization and poverty, located in the metropolitan area of Monterrey.
The proposal must be permorfed with a multidisciplinary approach, comprehensive in nature, based on innovative solutions in the following areas:
Energy efficiency.
Conservation and wise use of water.
Efficient management of waste.
