The University has a specific center called Centro de Sostenibilidad (Sustainability Center), that looks forward to lead UDEM to a sustainable development through knowledge generation and implementation of strategies that engages the community to minimize environmental impacts through the development of internal and external projects.
The Center has a website which consolidates information about the institutions efforts, such as actual projects, academic and research offerings,events, team, vision, mission and objective of the center.

The students of the Communication Undergraduate speak about sustainability once a week. About different topics they print a copy and they also have a radio station.

There is a sustainability walking tour for the employees so that they have a nice option to exercise after work. There is three different levels of difficulty.

Yes the University has a guide and offers an alternative transportation method called Directo UdeM which is the private University bus system that goes all around the city and can transport students and employee.

The students have the opportunity to see the guide and live in a sustainable place with our program Residencia Sostenible which takes place with the students that live in Campus. The students get a sustainable residential experience. They even have their own crop garden.

Agencia Informativa UDEM (UDEM Informative Agency) is a class laboratory where journalism students cover events and news, performing a team of more than 100 reporters. This way the get prepared in writing, editing, design and photography of printed and electronic media, as well as in the production of a radio newscast and newspaper database. Supported by the creativity and commitment of our reporters, the Agency transmits news through image, video and audio, so that readers feel, live and remember that time again
