A brief description of the institution’s formal community partnership to advance sustainability:
DEUMAN (https://deuman.com/) was born with the purpose of being active agents of change in the promotion of climate action and the promotion of sustainable development. With more than 27 years of experience, we have developed with a pioneering attitude towards the fight against climate change and the reduction of greenhouse gases.

Our experience in advising and providing technical assistance to governments, the private sector, multilateral organizations, and international cooperation in Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, and Africa demonstrates the quality and professionalism of our work. To do this, we have a network of expert consultants in our three areas of action: Climate Change, Sustainability, and Energy.
Furthermore, in July 2023, Universidad Científica del Sur signed an agreement with DEUMAN. This agreement allows us to collaborate on various research and development projects. While various projects have been evaluated up to this point without submission, the support of DEUMAN serves as a starting point to generate a greater impact beyond the campus.
