There are two student groups that seek to make a difference on issues related to sustainability.
CIASUR: They are young students from the Faculty of Environmental Sciences of the Scientific University of the South. The Environmental Research Circle is made up of students of the Environmental Engineering program interested in developing research projects, as well as social impact projects (related links: https://www.facebook.com/ciasur.ucsur?locale=es_LA, https://www.cientifica.edu.pe/en/node/1529).
CAMBI-E: We are a group of university students who, motivated by current environmental problems, have decided to begin our volunteering with the purpose of generating positive changes in the environment and promoting healthy habit practices in society (https://www.instagram.com/cambie.pe/).

Webinar: Environmental Education
Description: A webinar on the management of a healthy campus in the context of the pandemic conducted by students of the course. It informed attendees about the impact of their lifestyles on sustainable development, proposed improvements in environmental management on campus, and discussed the proper disposal of bio-contaminated hazardous waste in university academic programs, with a focus on mask disposal and responsible water use during the pandemic.
Webinar: Addressing Environmental Determinants of Health
Description: This webinar aimed to raise awareness among the target audience about the importance of addressing environmental determinants of health to ensure a healthy life and encourage them to take actions for the benefit of the environment.
Environmental Summit for World Environment Day
Description: The summit's goal is to promote sustainability and climate change concepts for application in organizational strategies and the development of public policies in the country.
Webinar on the Challenges to the Peruvian Sea
Description: A representative from the Environmental Litigation Clinic of the University presented the challenges facing the Peruvian sea for the effective protection of marine resources, aiming to foster interdisciplinary knowledge between marine biology and environmental law.
