A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
CES University is a Higher Education Institution (HEI) founded in 1977, committed to excellence. Our mission, being a HEI is to advance actions in teaching, research, innovation, extension and sustainability, with the purpose of contributing to social development and the formation of free, autonomous, ethical, scientific and human beings. competent in a globalized world.
With our main headquarters in Medellín, we are an autonomous, private, non-profit and self-sustaining institution. Our pillar is the commitment to excellence and sustainability for the comprehensive training of our students, with the support of a highly qualified, humane and innovative teaching team. This has led us to be accredited again for the high quality standards by the Ministry of National Education.
Our own headquarters and teaching-service centers:
• CES University, principal campus located in El Poblado, Medellin. On our main campus we find the classrooms, the welfare building, the laboratories, the library, the museum, the administrative offices and simulation spaces that allow the development of our substantive functions.
• Veterinary and Animal health Center (CVZ): Located in Envigado, Antioquia. This modern service center in Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics is a support unit for educational and comprehensive care activities for the agricultural sector.
• IPS CES Sabaneta: Located in Sabaneta, Antioquia. It is a service center that offers care in dentistry, medicine (dermatology), physical therapy and psychology. It is the headquarters of the Colombian Institute of Tropical Medicine ICMT-CES and of important laboratories that support research and teaching, as well as the legal office and the conciliation center.
• Colombian Institute of Tropical Medicine ICMT-CES: Located at CES Sabaneta and in Apartadó, Antioquia. It is a non-profit center of excellence in research. It is recognized for the quality of its academic programs, the development of research and the provision of services, consulting and advice in the health sector in Colombia and Latin America.
• IPS CES Almacentro: Located in Medellín, Antioquia. It has a specialized Dentistry Unit that provides services of high technical, scientific and human quality. It is attended by professional specialists in all areas of the CES University School of Dentistry.
• CES Clinic: Located in Medellín, Antioquia. Its purpose is to provide health services with high human, ethical and scientific quality, articulating the teaching-service in care. It has more than 800 collaborators, 30 medical specialties for medium and high complexity care. It works in conjunction with the university to seek well-being with high human quality and scientific ethics.
